Urbandaddy.com writes up a little introduction to Industry. Here’s a little taste to whet your appetite.. we’ll see you for the main course tonight on the dance floor. Bon appetit!
Captains of Industry: Burgers and Dance Floors, Together at Last
You made it. The week’s over. You need to dance it off.
Preferably with a giant burger in your hand.
So we’re pleased to provide you with a first look at the dance floor that’ll bring you just such an opportunity—welcome to a curious new blowout spot called Industry, opening tomorrow on La Cienega.
Basically, the nightlife overlords of SBE (MI-6) realized that the club last known as Area had run its course—possibly due to the outdated notion that dance floors were no place for juicy red meat on a bun. But the total overhaul has created a modern swirl of blue-hued mayhem that includes private rooms, champagne cocktails, an enclosed patio, Cucumber Watermelon Margaritas…and a walk-up burger bar slinging Pastrami Burgers, Falafel Burgers and, for the truly forward-thinking dancer, a Chili Cheese Burger.
And lest you be worried that important vestiges of nightlife venues past—like stripper poles—were cruelly cast away in the face of suchinnovation, we can assure you that this is not the case.
It’s best not to mess with the classics.
